  • pliers: chain nose 4.5 inch economy $7.00

Instructions

1 Using 4 inches of the 24gauge 1/2 hard Sterling Silver wire to attach, with a simple wire twist, the rectangular freshwater pearl to the chain eleven inches from the end.
2 With a simple wire twist attach the middle (slightly off center to stagger) of the three inch piece of Sterling silver chain, to the bottom of the rectangular freshwater pearl.
3 Using headpins and a simple wire twist attach a freshwater pearl to each end of the chain tassel and attach three more freshwater pearls, at different heights, to your chain tassel.
4 Attach eight freshwater pearls, using headpins and simple wire twists, to the body of the necklace (skipping six links on the chain between each). Save one freshwater pearl for the end of the chain.
5 Attach the clasp to the shorter side of the chain. Use 2 inches of the 24 gauge 1/2 hard Sterling Silver wire, a simple wire twist and the small freshwater pearl to attach the springring clasp the the chain. This clasp makes the necklace adjustable in length.
6 Using a headpin and a simple wire twist attach the remaining freshwater pearl to the longer end of the chain. The pearl on the end makes a nice drop down the back.
