Apple Jasper Delight Bracelet

Beautiful rich red apple jasper is paired with antique silver bead caps and glittering Swarovski crystals for this fun bracelet kit. In this design, the Swarovski crystal light chrome rounds move freely on the cord, creating eye-catching motion. This classic black, red and silver color combination can be worn to work or for a night on the town. The clasp is attached to the Superlon beading cord with cord ends. This bracelet kit can be made to fit any size wrist either loose or snug.

15 apple jasper 8mm faceted rondells
10 Swarovski crystal 4mm light silk bicones
12 Swarovski 4mm crystal light chrome rounds
30 TierraCast 5mm petal bead caps with antique silver finish
2 base metal 3 x 10mm decorative cord end with antique silver finish
1 TierraCast 6 x 4.5mm - 20g oval jumpring with silver finish
1 TierraCast 5mm open jumpring with silver finish
1 TierraCast 7 x 12mm brass lobster claw clasp with silver finish
1 yard of Superlon extra-heavy #18 black bead cord
1 size 8 flexible twisted steel beading needle
1 hat pin

Have a ruler, tape or bead stopper, jeweler's glue or clear nail polish on hand before you begin.

Cut the yard of Superlon cord into three 12-inch pieces.

Take one cord and tie a knot 4 inches from the end.

Thread your needle on the short end of this piece and thread three round crystals.

Move the needle to the other end of your cord.

Thread your needle on the long end from your knot. Add one bead cap, apple jasper rondell, bead cap, crystal bicone, bead cap, apple jasper rondell, bead cap, crystal bicone, bead cap, apple jasper rondell and one bead cap on to your thread.

Tie a knot after the last bead cap.

Add three crystal rounds on to your thread.

Remove the needle and set this strand aside.

Tie a knot 2 inches from the end of a second 12-inch piece of Superlon cord.

Thread one bead cap, apple jasper rondell, bead cap, crystal bicone, bead cap, apple jasper rondell, crystal bicone, apple jasper rondell and one bead cap on to the cord.

Tie a knot after the last bead cap.

Add three crystal rounds on to the cord and tie a knot approximately 2 inches from the former knot.

Repeat the sequence from step 5 and tie a knot after the last bead cap.

Repeat steps 5 and 6 for your third 12-inch piece of Superlon cord.

Trim all three strands to your desired length, bearing in mind that the cord ends and clasp will add 1 1/2 inches to your finished bracelet. Place the very first cord you created between the last two you created.

Glue the ends of three cords and slide them inside a cord end. Press the center of the cord end with your chain nose pliers to tighten on to your cords. Allow the glue to dry.

Attach the lobster claw clasp to the cord end with the 5mm open jumpring.

TIP - For best results, use two pairs of flat nose pliers to open and evenly close jumprings.

Glue the ends of three cords on the other side of the bracelet and slide them inside the second cord end. Press the center of the cord end with your chain nose pliers to tighten on to your cords. Allow the glue to dry.

Attach large oval jumpring to the other cord end, and you're done.
