Azurite Malachite is in interesting blend of minerals that we think look like tiny globes, the green of the Malachite is interspersed in the deep blue of the Azurite making it really look like a tiny mother Earth. We are mixing this unique stone with the eco-friendly Bamboo beads and cool Hematite saucers to create a special Earth Day necklace project that would work well for men or women. Finished necklace can be up to 20 inches long.
1 strand of 7 x 17mm blue with natural bamboo oval - faceted 15 8mm Azurite Malachite beads 30 6 x 3mm Hematite Rondells 2 2 X 2mm Sterling Silver Crimps 2 Sterling Silver Cable Guards 1 5 x 14mm Sterling Silver lobster claw clasp 1 7mm soldered Sterling Silver jumpring 3 feet of Soft Flex Fine .014 beading cable
step 1 Tape one end of your beading cable so your beads do not slide off the end. String one Hematite rondell, one 8mm Azurite Malachite bead, one Hematite rondell and one Bamboo oval on to the cable. Repeat this sequence thirteen more times.
step 2 String one Hematite rondell, one 8mm Azurite Malachite bead and one Hematite rondell on to the cable.
step 3 String one crimp tube, one cable guard and the clasp on to one end. Seat the clasp on the cable guard. Run the beading cable back through the crimp tube and the last bead. Crimp the crimp tube. Trim the cable.
step 4 String one crimp tube, one cable guard and the piece of chain on to the other end. Seat the jumpring on the cable guard. Run the beading cable back through the crimp tube and the last bead. Pull on the tail of the wire to remove any slack between the beads. Crimp the crimp tube. Trim the cable.
