Lavender Amethyst Lotus Flower Necklace

by Kimberly Gladen

This necklace kit was inspired by the lovely color of lavender, the beautiful lotus flower and the warm tone of copper. Buddhists believe the lotus flower has power to enlighten, purify and help keep faith, with the purple lotus flower specifically symbolizing spirituality and mysticism. Amethyst is associated with spiritual growth, protection, inner peace, heightened intuition and clarity of the mind. Many believe the energy of amethyst also can reduce addictive traits. Copper is considered to be a healing metal - especially for arthritis and rheumatism - and is said to help the healing effect of any stone when copper and stone both touch the body. What you choose to believe when you wear this charming necklace is entirely up to you, but we can probably all appreciate that it is simply enchanting.

You have enough materials to make a necklace up to 21 inches long, or you can make it shorter before you add the clasp.

Our Lavender Amethyst and Copper Earrings match this necklace beautifully.
