Leather and Brass Infinity Bracelet

by Megan Piper

This is an everyday unisex leather bracelet with a brass infinity symbol as its focal point. The fine TierraCast brass findings and clasp are beautiful with the brown Greek leather cord. Perhaps you can use this symbol as a meditation point, thinking about endless time, or ponder on the fact that there is no beginning or end to this charm. Either way, it's a bracelet that will work with any outfit, for a man or woman.

The standard length for men's bracelets is 8 inches, 7 inches for women's bracelets.

This bracelet pairs nicely with our Forever Love Infinity Necklace.

You will also need a dab of jewelry glue or clear nail polish to secure the cord ends in this bracelet - not included.

2 decorative cord ends in antique brass
2 TierraCast faceted cube beads with antique brass finish

step 1
step 1
Fold a 1-foot piece of leather in half tie it on to one of the ends of the infinity link with a lark's head knot.
step 2
step 2
Add a metal bead to one of the folded pieces of leather.

Now you will create a decorative knot. You will be looping the piece of leather with the bead on it.

Fold leather cord with the bead on it over the other cord, while holding on to the other piece of leather, as well.
step 3
step 3
Loop the folded over leather around both pieces of leather two or three times, creating a little tunnel of loops.
step 4
step 4
Put the end of the looped leather through the tunnel and pull on the end to tighten up your decorative knot.
step 5
step 5

Figure out how long you would like your bracelet to be, keeping in mind that the toggle clasp and cord ends will add one inch to the finished length of the bracelet. Cut off the leather to your desired length. Glue both leather cords inside one cord end. Press the center of the cord end with your chain nose pliers to tighten on to your leather cords. Allow to the glue to dry.

Repeat steps 1 - 5 for the other side of your bracelet
